A fantastic large scale papier-mâché carnival head of a sailor with lovely original paint and patina – French C.1950’s.

It’s an impressive sized example with lots of character and is of course totally unique! Well made from papier-mache with a hand painted finish and custom made felt hat. The lucky wearer of this piece has their head snuggly fitted inside the neck with a mesh viewing panel painted with an anchor.
