Victorian Toleware Tea Canister

A decorative 19th century Chinese export Toleware tea canister with a fantastic timeworn appearance.

Its a large hexagonal example wearing the original red paint, complete with the original lid and a decorative scene to the front. It has various loss to the paint and a few dings/dents, however remains solid & perfectly useable. It would have originally been on display in a grocers shop.
