A beautifully timeworn and tactile Victorian side table with studded black velvet upholstery – late 19th century Aesthetic Movement.

Well made in London by T.H Filmer & Sons cabinet makers & upholstery. Constructed from ebonised wood with gilded details, featuring two tiers both upholstered in black velvet with studded trim. It’s solid and perfectly useable, there are signs of historic woodworm which have been treated, the velvet is heavily worn and faded in areas which add to its charm!
