French Bookmakers Trade Sign
An extravagant and totally unique French boot makers trade sign, C.1900.
Well made from cast & cut steel with the original painted finish and signed by the artist. It’s a large heavy sign with a good timeworn look. The design is wonderful, featuring an elaborate red boot with a star spur centred in what looks like a clock dial, finished in Ivory, red and gilt colours.
