Ecclesiastical Rubbing Plate

A very decorative Gothic style ecclesiastical rubbing plate, depicting Madonna surmounted by a pair of winged angels with a dog at her feet.

An impressive sized example which looks superb floor standing or wall hung. To the base is an inscription in Latin along with a coat of arms,  the original wood frame and backing are intact. Presented in good solid condition.
