‘The Blind Piper’

A charming oil painting of a blind bagpiper being led by a young women over a precarious wooden bridge, his faithful dog alongside carrying the clansman’s hat in its mouth. Beautifully set in the Scottish Highlands and presented in its original reeded oak frame. Signed ‘Findler’ and dated 1880 to the bottom left hand corner. Embossed ‘The Blind Piper’ to the reverse.
