Victorian Tryptic Mirror

A stunning Victorian over mantle mirror, dating from the late 19th century.

Beautiful tryptic design with 3 arched & bevelled edged mirrored panels, various neo-classical embellishments and a wonderful maidens face mask & bow finial. It’s solid and stable with some cosmetic wear to the pretty gold/gilded finish, there is some loss to the bottom left of the wood return, which does not compromise the integrity of the mirror and is purely cosmetic (please view photos). The original mirrored plate has some light foxing but is clean and perfectly useable.  It’s a beautiful timeworn example which displays well as an over mantle or would look superb wall hung.
