Victorian Marble & Gilt Console Table

A superb quality Victorian gilt wood & marble console table C.1880.

Intricately designed and highly decorative carved wood table base with plaster decorations, a gilded finish and original off white Carrara marble top. It’s an English made example and superb quality build that remains in good solid condition with minor cosmetic wear to the base. The original Carrara marble top is complete and solid with some cosmetic wear & scratches, it remains in untouched condition however could be easily refinished if preferred. It’s a good useful size and displays incredibly well.  It was previously sold through Christie’s auction house and there original label is on the back.
