Victorian ‘Cirkus’ Lithograph

A magnificent Scandinavian lithograph, dating from the mid 19th century.

Good quality and clear image printed on a piece of thick paper. The busy scene shows a circus coming to town and all the wonder that brings, there is a high top tent to the right hand side, lots of spectators watch a street act and the more wealthy viewers look on from their horse drawn carriages whilst being sold flowers by young girls. In the background is a horse race stadium and several riders in their uniforms look to have just finished a race. It’s presented in good condition and displayed in a vintage frame with a glazed front, to protect the image.
