Pair of Scottish oak metamorphic chairs 19th C.

A fantastic pair of rare 19th C. Scottish carved oak chairs.

They are a matching pair however one is metamorphic and folds into a set of library steps.
Lovely quality chairs with carved oak slats depicting oak leaves and bobbin turned front legs.
There is an older repair to one of the chairs and a missing side stretcher on the other. A very pretty pair of chairs.
