Pair of Fancy Canaries Watercolour

A wonderful watercolour portrait of a pair of London Fancy canaries, signed and dated by the artist.

Most likely commissioned by a breeder of birds they were particularly fond of. Well presented in its original ebonised frame with a gold border and glazed front. It’s in good condition and even has the original framers sticker on the reverse. Signed ‘I. Cook ‘ & dated 1929.
