Painted plaster putti head on stand

A beautiful plaster putti head mounted on a custom made stand, C.1930.

Once used in a theatre as a prop, it is well made but naive in its appearance. The features and expression are delightful as is the original hand painted finish. It has been mounted on a custom made stand, which helps to display and appreciate this decorative piece.
