Naive Religious Oil Painting

A glorious naive oil painting of ‘The Bearing Away Of The Body Of Jesus’ mounted in its original gilt frame and dating from the mid 20th century. Painted in a naive style in oil on board, the plaque reads ‘The Bearing Away Of Jesus’ , psalm 16:10. On the reverse is a previous landscape painting, most likely by the same artist.
It’s a substantial size and makes for an imposing & charming piece of religious artwork and great decorators piece.
