Large Galleon Model In Oak Case

An impressive scratch built model galleon housed in a beautiful large oak display case C.1920.

The well crafted galleon is a plank on frame model with three rigged masts, anchors, multiple crows nests & gun ports, a lovely naive figurehead and a magnificent gilt plaster frieze down each side with painted blue & green strips. It’s raised on its own stand and is in original & untouched condition with minor cosmetic wear. The superb quality solid oak display case has its original glazing on all four sides and a removable lid for access. A good decorative example that displays incredibly well.
