Large Florentine style French carved wood frame C.1920

A stunning large carved mahogany Florentine style French frame in the C.1920.

Incredibly ornate and a very good size.
Lovely quality, hand carved and made from mahogany. It’s had various finishes in its lifetime, giving it a unique look.
There are signs of gilding coming through black paint and even pinks down low, white striking. It’s very well made and in excellent condition with no loss or repairs.
