Georgian Woodcock shooting painting
A scarce reverse painted scene of a man and his dog hunting for Woodcock, by W.B Walker 1801.
Reverse painted mezzotints laid down on glass and mounted in its original ebonised frame. There is a couple of cracks to the inside glass which are stable, the front plate and wood backing are both in good order. It is titled Woodcock shooting and published in London. The colours are lovely and it displays well.
