Bronze mermaid candelabras

A magnificent pair of Danish bronze candelabra in the form of a mermaid & merman, circa 1930.

Well cast from heavy bronze with a faded gilt finish. The figural mermaids are raised on an unusual claw like tripod base. Well cast but fairly naive in their appearance. They can each hold two candles and display really well. They are a little lose where the upper figures attach to the base otherwise in good solid condition.
