A magnificent female artists may figure, complete with original industrial stand, dating from the mid 20th century.

Superb quality, made from pine with a lacquered finish and very tactile. It’s in good vintage condition with all the joints being tight and moving smoothly. It can free stand in a wide range of poses or be displayed on the lovely weighted brass stand.

A lay figure is a hand made wooden model of the human body that is jointed so that it can be posed and arranged in clothing, used by artists and sculptors.
